Glasgow Architects Anderson, Bell and Christie have indicated that they are interested in getting involved in the Forest Village project. They are currently putting together the design guide for Argyll and Bute council on affordable, sustainable housing and would therefore be ideally placed to help with the design and build process. It would appear that they are looking to help with the building of eight affordable homes as part of the Forest Village project, working in conjunction with local housing association, Fyne Homes. The houses would be self-build using simple tools and made mostly from materials sourced from the forest.

The project is also attracting interest from Community Scotland. Janet Crook has indicated that she believes that the project addesses a number of issues that the organisation is concerned with.
