Groups were asked to give their opinions on all aspects of the project
Wednesday the 19th of October saw the second round of Community Consultations take place at the Tighnabruaich Hotel. Meetings were arranged with interest groups throughout the day with a presentation by Gordon Gray Stevens of Scottish Native Woods in the evening. Kristin Olsen of Reforesting Scotland and Will Self ran several interactive exercises designed to get the attendees thinking about how the Forest Village project might help to deliver affordable housing, jobs and more permanent residents. Many interesting ideas have been discussed over the past few weeks, and much useful information has been gathered. A document giving details of the latest meeting has been posted on the downloads page.
